Industry-first!! Single-edge nipper with replaceable blade
The SUSTENA NIPPER Advance is the first in the industry to feature a replaceable blade for model kit-specific nippers. Even if the blade breaks or loses its sharpness, simply swapping it out for a new one rejuvenates the nipper to a like-new sharpness. The body is constructed from stainless steel, while the blade is made from tungsten, providing rust resistance and requiring minimal maintenance for extended use.
Maintaining cutting precision with easy blade replacement
Utilizing a special design for the replaceable blade, the SUSTENA NIPPER Advance achieves cutting precision comparable to regular single-edge nippers. Both the body and the cutting blade are made from high-rigidity materials, ensuring sharpness across the entire length from the tip to the base, allowing it to cut through plastic with a thickness of approximately 3mm. The thin and rigid blade minimizes whitening on cut surfaces, resulting in a clean and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Convenient slide mechanism for blade replacement (patent pending)
The replaceable blade features a U-shaped special shape. By loosening the screw on the fixed plate, the blade can be easily pulled out. To install a new blade, slide it into the gap of the fixed plate, push it all the way in, and tighten the screw to complete the replacement. The fixed plate incorporates an anti-rotation mechanism, ensuring a tight grip on the blade without gaps. Furthermore, a stopper with high-precision adjustment for the blade's engagement allows for fine-tuning in case of individual variations in replaceable blades.
Ergonomic grip for optimal handling
Extensive research went into analyzing gripping forces, resulting in the development of a comfortable grip shape. By fitting the grip to the lines of the fingers, it reduces fatigue during extended use and provides a stable hold. Effectively transmitting the force from the thumb to the cutting blade allows for the efficient cutting of gates with light force. Additionally, attaching the finger hook attachment to the rear end of the grip increases the nipper's grip, providing a more stable user experience. After use, the included dedicated protective cap ensures safe storage.
Convenient 2-way driver for blade replacement!
The SUSTENA NIPPER Advance comes with a dedicated 2-way driver. It includes two types of drivers, one for blade replacement and another for fine-tuning the blade engagement. The tip is magnetically detachable for easy use.
Protective cap included to safeguard the blade
The SUSTENA NIPPER Advance includes a dedicated protective cap. When attached to the nipper body, it creates a space between the interior of the cap and the tip of the blade, preventing the transmission of impact to the blade and ensuring protection. The cap can be easily removed during use.
