The statue was fully supervised by Nobutatsu Ito, the game’s concept artist, and was born as a statue suitable for the beginning of the next generation of SILENT HILL. The figure’s sculpting is notable for the “fragile beauty” symbolized by the cherry blossoms, and the “haunting horror” that drives players to the edge of their mentality in the labyrinth.
Great attention has been paid to the lines of the body and the modeling of the legs in order to express the beauty that exists within the eerie creature.
The countless cherry blossoms are carefully sculpted down to the smallest detail.
The pedestal is based on an abandoned apartment building, and sticky notes with slanderous remarks are scattered on the fence and floor.
